Those of us at Writewheel Publishing (Writewheel) are very conscious of the concerns many people have with the security of their personal data and the purposes for which it is used. We not only conform to the law and the Information Commissioner’s guidelines (see www.ico.gov.uk) but go beyond in order to reassure those who have entrusted us with their details.
We retain the bare minimum of information on all those who have bought any titles. The most information we would keep would be:
Your name, or if not supplied, the name given on your email address,
Your email address.
Your email address will be stored with BT Internet. Any other information will be stored behind a firewall. Your data is as secure as we can make it. The data is not released to any third party. We do not use cloud storage for personal data.

Your rights under the Data Protection Act
Those people whose personal details are retained on a database have the right to ascertain the nature of the information held and to correct anything which is incorrect. The application must be in writing to the Data Controller, details above.
The Data Protection Act allows a fee to be charged for the procedure, which was £10 at the time of writing.
Further anyone whose contact details are retained for the purposes of direct marketing has the right to have them removed from such a list. This may be done by reply to any email with the Subject Line of Unsubscribe or by sending an email to the Data Manager via the contact form on the Contact page with the same Subject Line. You can also make a written application to the Data Controller at the address above or phone 07805 749 453. Written confirmation will be required for requests for details held.
Use of any product beyond that expressly permitted by these Terms is unauthorised and unlawful. Writewheel reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
Writewheel.uk is provided free of charge. Any information in the site or included in any email with reference to the site of product is provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available’. All content is provided in good faith and whilst we use reasonable endeavors to ensure the accuracy of the content no warranty, either express or implied, is made regarding the its accuracy, completeness or fitness for any purpose, and we expressly exclude any liability in respect thereof.
The information in any product may be updated from time to time and may at times be out of date. We accept no responsibility for keeping the information up to date, nor liability for any failure to do so. No liability is accepted for any errors, or for any losses that may be incurred if content is relied on.
The content is intended for general reference only. Its application to any specific instance or for any particular purpose is a user’s sole responsibility.
Except as stated below, the contents of any product may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, displayed, posted or transmitted in any form or by any means without our prior express written permission.
You may copy any page from any product for the purpose of private and personal non-commercial use. You may make an electronically stored, transient copy of Writewheel as a whole or any page for the purpose of viewing it while connected to the Internet only. However, you may only make one copy.
You may not distribute, display or copy any part or page of a product to third parties including (but not limited to) ‘caching’ any material from Writewheel for access by third parties, and ‘mirroring’ any part of it.
You must ensure that your use of any product and content thereof is in no way unlawful and you will fully indemnify us against any liability we may incur as a result of any use by you which is unlawful, or which is in breach of these terms.

Unless otherwise stated, all content of the site, including any graphic design, is the copyright of Writewheel or, in certain cases, the copyright owners. Under no circumstances will you have any claim to copyright or ownership of any intellectual property rights over the content. Each author of material on Writewheel has asserted their moral right pursuant to Section 77 of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 to be identified as the author thereof.

Any links to other websites provided on Writewheel and are made in good faith. However, Writewheel cannot be held responsible for any information on such sites.
You must remove any link to this site when requested to do so. You must not create any link to this site which could give rise to confusion as to its identify. You must not suggest in any way that Writewheel endorses any site or anything else without prior permission.
We disclaim all representations and warranties with respect to any product and content to the full extent of the law. One way of describing a cooking is as a little file stored on the computer of a visitor to a site which stores a very limited amount of information. For Writewheel, it allows us in the main to discover numeric details of visitors to the site. No personal details are available to Writewheel and no user can be identified personally.
