VSCC 85th Anniversary Celebrations Brands Hatch

It comes to something when you realise that the VSCC is only 15 years older than you are. I suppose that’s why Brands Hatch didn’t allow concessions on the entry fee on 24 August.

I was en route to elsewhere and thought I’d stop in for a few minutes. It turned out to be for three hours. And a bit more. However, I was told, when I reached my destination, that I was earlier than they expected.

Don’t you hate passive/aggressive criticism.

It was a pleasant few hours, if a little hot. I wandered around, had a chat, talked TVR to someone who’d always wanted one, who then told me he owned a vintage Bentley. Ah, well.
