Headcorn Model Show
Boats
The static display was awe inspiring. Some of the models must have taken years. Well done to all those who braved visitors with heavy hands.
The lake was a pleasant place to sit while eating one’s lunch. Watching the boats was more than a little soporific.
I don’t know enough about boats to caption these images or to provide alt tags. My apologies.

Cars
I was unable to stay at the circuit all that long as I have a bit of a grass allergy. It is worse for recently cut grass. As you can see, there was enough grass to make anyone sneeze so my time was cut short. It is obviously good fun. The cars go very fast indeed and are difficult to follow. Until, that is, they hit something. This was not an unusual occurrence.
I wish I could have spent longer there.
As can be seen, not the sport for the nervous.

Planes
There were some absolutely stunning models on display, both in the air and on the ground, at Headcorn. I’ve not videoed model planes flying before the Saturday of the show, and looking at the footage, I’ve not done so yet. I’ll try and salvage something, but it’s not looking good. In the meantime, here are some images.
